Leftover Halloween candy? Don’t eat it, DRINK it!

Typical leftover Halloween candy options: One: you could eat it yourself and run the risk of chocolate overload. Two: you could take it into the office and let your co-workers go at it like lions on wildebeests. Or three: you could make some of these drinkable alternatives.

Kit Kat Bar Smoothie

1 cup chocolate milk

1 cup chocolate ice cream

2 Kit Kat bars, chopped

Combine milk and ice cream in a blender until smooth. Pour mixture into a bowl, cover and put in freezer until frozen (about 3 hours). Stir with fork until slushy and then mix in chopped Kit Kat. Serve.

Chocolate Bar Frosty

1 (14 oz.) can of sweetened condensed milk (like Eagle Brand)

1 (8 oz.) container of plain or vanilla yogurt

½ cup chocolate flavored syrup

2 to 3 candy bars of your choice, broken up

2 cups crushed ice

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

Malted Milk Ball Coffee Creamer

Gather together:

One large container of chocolate malted milk balls (one cup of malted milk balls will make 4 cups of creamer)

One container of plain coffee creamer

A food processor

An airtight container

In food processor, place one cup of creamer to 1/4 cup of malted milk balls. Grind the mixture, getting it as smooth as possible. Store your creamer in an airtight container. No refrigeration is necessary.

Starburst Martini

Melt all four regular flavors (cherry, lemon, strawberry & orange) of Starburst in a saucepan. Dip the rim of a martini glass in the warm candy and chill. While your glass is chilling, mix 1 to ½ ounces Absolut Citron, followed by a splash of each of the following:

Raspberry Schnapps

Peachtree Schnapps

Apricot Brandy

Cointreau

Lime, Cranberry and Orange Juice

Sour Mix

Shake very well and serve in chilled, candy-rimmed martini glass.
