Corrie Beth’s maidenhair fern mobile takes me to a place of tranquility. It’s so light and delicate and dreamy, don’t you think? As you can probably imagine, the supplies to make one are minimal, and include the inside of a 10″ or 12″ wooden embroidery hoop, string, glue stick, jump rings, scissors and green paper.

Now, although Corrie Beth includes a PDF of the pattern for the ferns, she ALSO provides an SVG file for those of you who have a paper-cutting machine. For the entire tutorial, including the files, visit The House That Lars Built.
