I think we can all agree that Father’s Day wouldn’t be Father’s Day without us sneaking in a good dad joke or two. After all, we can’t let our dads have all the ‘pun’ now can we? (haha, see what I did there?).
And since my friends often say that their fathers are hard to buy for, I figured there’s no better way to deliver said dad joke than wrapped around an awesome gift card! If you’re struggling to figure out what to get your dad this Father’s Day, a gift card from his favourite store packaged in one of these holders might be just the ticket.
Materials
- Printable Father’s Day gift card holder file
- Letter-sized white card
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Bone folder
- Double-sided tape or glue
Step
Print the Father’s Day gift card holder file onto white letter-sized card, then score along the faint white lines in each of the holders with a ruler and bone folder. The white lines mark out the middle of the holder and the two tabs (there should be three lines to score in total).
Step
Cut out each of the gift card holders with a pair of scissors.
Step
Fold each of the holders along the lines you scored in Step 1.
Step
Add glue or double-sided tape to the two tabs and stick them to the back of the gift card holder.
Then just insert your gift card and you’re all done!
