Sara and Charlie's Nashville house may not actually have been the "ugliest house ever", but it was certainly at the top of the goofy list, and it DID need a makeover. The remarkable part of this story isn't even how lovely their home looks "after." Really! The astonishing part is it only took 7 months to turn the entire house from whoa to wowza. Here's the living room, pictured above, after its transformation. (And yes, it bugs me too that the camera angel is different.)
It appears the carpeting that was in the living room extended into the kitchen. Oye.

After you take a peek at the pics, come back here and chime in--was this really the ugliest house ever? If not, what was the ugliest house you've ever seen? (I remember one house we looked at that had distressed 12" square mirrored tiles on one of its dining room walls. Although that was hideous, even worse might have been the red shag carpeting in the room. Yeah, that was ugly.)
