Who’s ready for spring? I know I am. And since it still doesn’t feel like it has arrived here in Boston, I thought it would be fun to share some colorful outdoor spaces so we can at least dream about warmer weather. Here are ten easy ways to infuse some extra color into your porch or patio.  Â
1. Give new life to older furniture by giving it a bright coat of paint. [Photo: HGTV]
2. Buy colorful potted flowers that contrast with other existing colors on your patio. [Photo: Sunset]
3. Paint a couple of pallets to create a brightly-colored table to place drinks. [Photo: Place of My Taste]
4. Buy a striped indoor-outdoor rug to give your space a more finished feel. [Photo: Southern State of Mind]
5. Add lots of lighting so your colorful plants still pop even during the darker hours. [Photo: My Home Ideas]
6. Here’s another pallet project – this time it’s acting as a shelf to hold a variety of different flowering plants. [Photo: At Home With Kelsey]
7. Add a set of throw pillows that coordinate with your potted plants. [Photo: BHG]
8. Spray paint old containers and mount them on the wall for an unexpected pop of color. [Photo: The DIY Village]
9. Curtains aren’t only for the living room – here they’ve been draped over the top of the patio creating an ethereal, romantic little hideaway. [Photo: Houzz]
10. Change out your seat cushions… these green and white striped ones really pop against the blue siding on the house. [Photo: Completely Coastal]
Hi, I’m curious of the color for #10 a blue/teal exterior paint. If you have the exterior and trim color please. Thank you
