Jacqueline had been meaning to buy a headboard and add more lighting to her bedroom, but hadn’t found the time to do either. Enter NY designer Amanda Nisbet who, in one day, made over the room to suit Jacqueline’s style perfectly. Besides not having a headboard and enough lighting, before Jacqueline wasn’t taking advantage of the space with the right furniture choices. She was also highlighting the room’s radiator by using it as a display area.
In 9 hours Amanda had the room painted in Benjamin Moore’s Richmond Bisque, bought and added a new headboard, desk, a more visually-interesting mirror, a new rug, a proper bedside table (before, Jacqueline was using a chair), a console table, and new framed art, just to name a few things.
Even though there’s actually more furniture in the room now, Jacqueline was amazed by the open and airy feeling of the room that is just her style. To see more pictures and read more about the makeover, click here.
