One day Susan woke up too early and started thinking about her old IKEA BEKVAM kitchen cart ($59.99). She'd had it for years, but it needed a makeover, so that's what she gave it--starting at 5 o'clock in the morning. (Sometimes insomnia is very productive.) She started by painting the bottom part white, and then she distressed the top part. The Graphics Fairy provided inspiration to include a postal cancelation stamp on the top as well, which Susan creating using a Stayzon stamp and stamps. She finished up the look with the addition of some rusty hooks and a towel bar.
Finished, it oozes personality. To see how she completed the entire makeover, visit Homeroad.
