I’ve long coveted the wooden dolls designed by Alexander Girard, but at $180 a pop, they remain firmly on my wishlist. This DIY version, though, follows a similarly whimsical aesthetic, but at a fraction of the cost is better suited for actual play (rather than as precious objects displayed out of hand’s reach)!
Mereta from One More Mushroom created a handy tutorial for making your own Girard-inspired dolls out of furniture legs (brilliant!) and wooden blocks. Check out her step-by-step instructions right here!
