Manhattan Nest
I almost feel like a broken record when I say this, but I truly cannot get enough of budget-friendly makeover projects these days. It’s one thing to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a fancy remodel, but it is quite another to create a beautiful space with very little cash.
Daniel of Manhattan Nest made over his kitchen with the help of his partner Max (who you may know as the associate editor of Design Sponge), over the course of ten weeks with a very minimal budget. And honestly, I couldn’t be more impressed. The entire makeover came in just over $1,200, which is incredibly affordable considering the changes. Don’t you think?
They took out the drop ceiling, painted the walls and ceiling (and all the original cabinetry), made custom wood plank countertops, and a whole lot more.
