Right now I’m not doing the best at hiding our remotes. I tuck them in a basket on the t.v. console. Another—better—option is this idea from Country Home. It’s not a new idea. As a matter of fact, kids have been storing their stash in such DIY hiding places for decades. Be that as it may, this is a great idea for making the clicker disappear altogether. Yes, you can buy ‘faux’ books at any craft store these days, but they look ‘faux’ unlike an old book or remainder that’s destine for the recycling bin.

Stuff we need to make one:

  • An old book
  • school glue
  • remote control
  • pencil
  • X-Acto knife
  • scissors
  • hot glue
