The kitchen of the Aldrich's 1942 Cape Cod was of the galley variety. Too small and closed-off from the rest of the space, they were ready for a big change. Architect Eric J. Hansen came up with a plan that gave them everything they were looking for without adding any square footage. This was accomplished by removing partial walls, dropped ceilings and their formal dining room. For the Aldrich family, the result is a breath of fresh air.
