Before and After: Goodbye 80s Kitchen

I tend to be drawn to minimal kitchens without much color, but when I saw my friend’s kitchen makeover I changed my tune a little bit. I love how this before and after makeover project turned out and it definitely is not without color. Aside from that, nearly everything you see in the before has now been changed: the wall color, the cabinet faces, the drawer pulls, the countertop, the sink, and the backsplash. Take a look.      credit: Crafty Clumsy Happy [http://www.clumsycraftyhappy.com/new-kitchen/]Clumsy Crafty Happy

Caroline of Clumsy Crafty Happy and her boyfriend Jason have been working on transforming their 80s kitchen into something that better reflects their personalities. I actually know both of them, so I can say with confidence that this makeover definitely does that. It’s colorful and fun, but also sleek and fresh.

My favorite features are the stainless steel mini subway tile backsplash and the undermount sink. I do love that chalkboard wall accent too though. There are lots of cool details to look at.
