Well, in relation to the Halloween decor that graces my humble abode, these spider sacks would fall in the "spooky" category- especially if I walked past them in the middle of the night on the way to check on a teething baby. Regardless of whether or not they fit your definition of spookiness, they are a fabulously easy project with only three materials:
- Glue, and
The making of these spider sacks is simply wrapping glue-soaked yarn around a small balloon and letting it dry. It couldn't get any easier! The spiders and mono-filament thread (fishing line) totally complete the look.
This project does require some patience, since you need to wait for the glue to dry before popping the balloons, but the end result- and effectiveness at giving me the willies- is worth it.
