Two Room Kitchen Makeover

Two Room Kitchen Makeover

Naomi's client had a kitchen spanning two poorly functioning rooms, divided by a load-bearing wall. They invested in a support beam that opened up the space in one impressive way.

Yep, those are the same rooms from very similar angles. Can you believe the change? You can see where the wall was in that fat beam now covered in subway tile to the left of the range.

In addition to reconfiguring the floorplan, Naomi and her design-partner Dad (how awesome!) added smart and unique details, like the X-accents on the ends of the island and continuous crown molding extending across the tops of the cabinets.

Thank you for posting our work!  We (Dad and I) love transforming  together.

I'm so glad my client went for the X-island.  It was just a little something different for a traditional white kitchen.

This kitchen is absolutely gorgeous now!  I love the natural wood floors with the white cabinets, the black counter tops and the red accent wall.   Couldn't ask for anything better.  Great job, guys!!!
