DIY Gate Glam

Here's a great project that puts a little unexpected color in your backyard fence, and the key ingredient is one you might have lost at one point or another: marbles.   By simply drilling holes in your wooden fence and filling them with marbles, you've got a very simple, very satisfying project.  Go for random placement, or elaborate designs. Constellations, anyone?

I wonder how it looks on the other side(of the fence)

Good advice about dry spells... gonna get a picket fence now! We have a small shanty style porch roof made from picket fence... may try a couple marbles in it just for fun!

Only thing, do during dry spell. If you do in spring, after/during wet spell, the heat of summer my shrink fence/holes and marbles fall out.

Just a question - does anyone know if the reflection of the sunlight can cause a fire to start?
