I’m no coffee drinker, but I do love grabbing a few of those teeny tiny straws when they are out for the taking just because everything tastes better through a little straw. Who knew they also served the purpose of making up a modern, geometric mobile?
Photographer Hope Helms was prepping for a new baby and was inspired by the Finnish Himmeli mobiles and wanted to re-create the modern look for the nursery.
She took a good handful of coffee straws and string and created a fun, geometric mobile for her “grown-up” baby room. Because it is so fun and modern, it doesn’t have to be limited to nurseries! A collection of different geometric shapes (and hey, throw in some red straws too!) would be a great piece of art in a room.
