Alternatively titled “The Evolution of an Oak Vanity”, this builder-grade vanity goes through a brief shabby chic phase before finally settling into a barnwood door-inspired groove! Check out both “afters” below.
Inspired by a rustic (and super expensive) barnwood vanity she spied in a catalog, Whitney from The Rooster and The Hen decided to turn her ho-hum oak vanity into something marvelous — less than a year after attempting this quick-fix, shabby chic makeover (which Whitney refers to as a “disaster”).
Determined to finally do it right, Whitney took her barnwood inspiration to the next level by adding cedar planking to the existing vanity. Some handmade doors and a few coats of a rich Walnut stain sealed the deal. Check out how she did it over on The Rooster and The Hen!
