We’re big on affordable, do it yourself wall art here at Curbly (check out our top ten projects from 2011), especially art of the typographic variety. So when we spy a project that covers all those bases (typographic, DIYable, cheap!) we get pretty excited!
This DIY “label maker” art is a quick and easy way to add some interest to your walls as well as a little bit of personality. Printing off your favorite quote (maybe the same one you used for that typographic stencil pillow project), attaching it to some quality paper, and framing that bad boy is easy as pie. Amanda Wright from Wit & Whistle even suggests applying a wash of watercolor to the paper for an added level of visual interest. Pretty brilliant, yes? See more over on Wit & Whistle!
