Genius Altoid Tin Storage Bin Idea

Genius Altoid Tin Storage Bin Idea

Like many of us, Matthew saved his empty Altoid tins for some undesignated later use. Recently he came upon his stash and discovered that stacking them vertically prevents them from sliding around in his desk drawer. He also discovered that 'the edge is just wide enough for a label.' Genius.

I have been wondering what to do with my tins. It seemed such a waste to throw them out. Now I know. Thank you.

My daughter is addicted to Altoids (well, she eats so many of them that it could classify as an addition).  I had her save the tins for me, and I am using them for various stocking stuffer gifts this year.  Wonderful little storage tins.  They smell pretty good too.

For a long time I saved my Altoids tins for some un-known craft...My friend offered to

sell them on etsy and we sold almost 100.  Look there if you do not have any to use

for this purpose.

My son uses them for his guitar picks, silly me, I hadn't thought of using them for other supplies!  Something I need to do!

Mine aren't quite this neat! but I use mine to store Jewelry in.  Those tin cans are so verra handy.
