$10 Washer & Dryer Makeover

$10 Washer & Dryer Makeover

It's rare that a washer and dryer go on the fritz at the same time, which is why there are so many miss-matched duos in the world. Brooke has the antidote for such odd couples as well as those old, boring sets too. The prescription is a quart of Rustoleum Protective Enamel. In Booke's case, RED enamel.

What I particularly love about this project is that it would be a GREAT way to test the appliance makeover waters. I mean, washers and dryers aren't usually front and center public in most homes, so if the results didn't turn out as good as Brooke's, only we'd have to know. Heh.

Pam, I checked the blog and she painted over the labels then used a paint pen to write them back on.

Pam on Dec 19, 2011:

How did you label the control panel?  These look awesome and I really need to do this to my appliances.

I would love to do this, but my hubby just bought me a new set and I'm sure he wouldnt' go for it. I planned on painting our old set a pretty color for our daughter, but she rented a home that already had a good set included.

These look awesome though~! Very professional looking too.
