Make 'em: Homemade Cheez-It Crackers

Adopting a vegetarian diet was super easy for me. What I couldn't do is go vegan. Why? Cheese. Oh, cheese, how I do love you. This might also explain my childlike fondness for cheesy snacks (orange fingers and all) and the little tingle I experienced when I saw this recipe on Dish & Tell. Unlike store-bought cheesy snacks, the ingredients list for these homemade Cheez-Its is refreshingly simple and includes flour, butter, extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, salt, cayenne pepper (or paprika) and cold water. That's it! Now, if anybody has a recipe for homemade Cheetos.....
