DIY Gemstone Drawer Pulls

by on Sep 30, 2011

Sometimes updating a room is as simple as paying attention to the little things. Switching out paint color, accessories, and linens among other things can make a big impact for little cost. A little time and effort can go a long way.

Lately I’ve been a bit – ahem – obsessed with geodes and home decor. The two play so nicely together, but I’d never thought of bringing them into the kitchen or bath. Then I saw this DIY project for drawer pulls using geode, sea glass, and minerals. You don’t even have to unscrew your current fixtures! I love how every drawer is unique with their addition.

  1. So disappointed, hunted around for ages and was rapt bc these are exactly what I want to make, unfortunately the link goes nowhere Ó╭╮Ò. Guess I’ll cross my fingers & keep looking *sigh*

    1. Hello, I just saw your inquiry and two of my favorite places for agate slices are Crystal River Gems. For gemstone knobs, try Hobby lobby. I took an old dresser, went to Hobby Lobby, and purchased Amethyst Knobs !!!. If you want to create your own, buy the slices from Crystal River Gems, (Which has 2.5 inches slices and bigger) in many colors and make your own!!! Have a good time at both.

P.S. Crystal River Gems is a website
