Of course Farmer's Almanac would have the scoop on making our own condiments. What's very cool is we probably already have on hand all we need to make them. Make them as sweet, tangy or spicy as you like and all without preservatives. Also, the ketchup recipe is a GREAT way to use those tomatoes that are finally coming into season! Here's a peek at one of the offerings, Chipotle Sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 ounce Dijon mustard
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
1 ounce chipotle chile in adobo sauce, chopped finely
1/4 ounce fresh garlic, minced
Salt, to taste
