I spent a bit of time recently wrapping birthday presents, and realized that my gift wrapping storage under the bed was less than effective in keeping everything organized and accessible. Just imagine this DIYer's Before picture under my bed. No bueno. I'll just admit I've been slapping on those cheap bows recently just to avoid pulling out my supplies.
I am highly considering making our coat closet (coat closets in Arizona? What were they thinking??) into something as organized as this Before/After closet.
Carrie of Dittle Dattle put some work into her closet by adding shelves (and removing an unsightly wire shelf, which are way too abundant in our condo as well), finding clearance-priced storage baskets, and adding a coat of paint. Although, I think the ribbon holder is what takes the cake for me... our ribbons are useless in their current tangled state. The door itself holds all her wrapping paper. You can see her complete post with her step-by-step process here.
I think that if I were armed with a gift-wrapping storage area like this, I'd actually have presentable looking gifts to give. Do you have a unique storage solution? Or are you lucky enough to have a wrapping station?
