My plageurising...

By wooks

Hi everyone,

I'm writing this in response to Bruno's comment on my profile - how am I supposed to reply to those btw? Leave my own comment on my own profile? Still figuring out this Curbly thing :)

Anyway, I mentioned I'd done the chalkboard thing in my kitchen after reading booizzy's post about it and Bruno asked if I could upload some pictures of it. To answer that it actually looks exactly like booizzy's! It's just a bit smaller, it even has a clock like booizzy's, but I owned that before, and it was hung there before. Really.

A photo I would like to share though is from a small project that got me onto Curbly in the first place, Alttext's Easy photo Wall post. I thought the idea was great but I didn't like the back boards and so I tried it with the single bull-clips. That look okay, but i realised it'd look great without the clips and just using the s-hooks - so I punched holes in all my photos and hung them that way. here's the pic:

Of course, it's probably better to do this with photos you have digital copies of. Breaking the 50yr old family photos out of their frames isn't your best bet...

Thanks, I'm just going through all my photos and getting the one's I like printed off in matte with the white border. And the great thing about alttext's project is that it's so easy to change the order, swap, or add new photos.

That turned out awesome! I especially like the white borders on the photos, it adds some nice geometry...
