Step one - the kitchen blind

A super simple how to this one. Making a roller blind with an excellent cheat involving the purchase of a blind kit from John Lewis. The aim here isn't to achieve mechanical perfection from raw materials - it's to let us pick a fabric we love, rather than one we kinda like.

Hi there! I, too, am interested in the pics (hopefully you found them). I'd love to see how you did this--I hate the old blinds we have, and would love to update them with a fabric one like this.
