I had an Ikea Tullsta chair that was missing it's slipcover and legs. Instead of buying a new slipcover, I made one out of Ikea fabric and I replaced the legs with Capita legs also from Ikea. Read the whole how-to on my blog: http://www.thebargainlife.com/?p=69

The pillows are 2 large pashminas bought on the streets of NYC for about $5 each - couldn't find the right color in teh fabric stores so.... inserts are 2 regular bed pillows per green pillow - again bought on the streets of NYC - the black squares are leather from a piece i had bought at Mood Fabrics a while back but could never figure out what to do with...

I figured the bathroom didn't have to look so "bathroom-ish" so I added that shelf and several framed items all above. Dark green paint on one wall as to not make the whole room too dark.

I found this broken mirror on the sidewalk a long time ago and it finally found a home.

This is another painting of mine that was commissioned by an interior designer in the Washington DC area. It was made to fit in a pre-existing frame and hangs in a dining room. It's very large at 30 x 40 inches.
