DEWALT DW703 Heavy Duty 10" Compound Miter saw

Dear Curbly,

This year for Christmas, I want a DEWALT DW703 Heavy Duty 10" Compound Miter saw.

It’s listed at $190.64 and I’ve included a couple of pictures of the saw in action, thoughtfully provided by amazon.com.

I love my list because it’s very short and very easy. But, most of all, with this item, I’ll finally be able to complete the one project in our house that I have longed to do: Master Bathroom Construction.



We have a somewhat awkward 3rd bedroom. It is by far the largest, but, because of the dimensions (10’ x 24’), it has been relegated to office and library duties. Ever since the beginning, we have longed to convert this room into a master bedroom with a half-bathroom and walk-in closet. We have the technical know-how to complete the task, but some of the tools required to do it can be costly. We have finally acquired most of the tools we’ll need, including all the necessary plumbing and electrical equipment, but the last item we need is a good miter saw.

With this list fulfillment, we will be able to complete our home remodel and, if you want, we can document the process with lots of pictures and a live blog on the site!
