Protecting vintage fabric???

By veeeee

Hello,

I have a vintage piece of panton-esque style fabric and stretched it out onto a frame and now I'd love to know what I should use to protect it? It will be hanging in my kitchen so I want to protect it from food splatters and such. Should I use Scotchgard spray? Should I paint a clear coat of matte acrylic over it or would that yellow over time? Any advice?

Thanks!

GLASS!   there is nothing you can SPRAY it with that will protect it from the air or food particles or dust etc....and a lot of things will make it worse.

if it is too big you can get acrylic sheets the same size and jury rig a frame using molding and a mitre box.
