Thanks for the compliments. Unfortunately, I do not have a tutorial for recovering those chairs...I just went ahead and did it...that's all! My boyfriend actually pick that fabric...It makes me happy!!!! It's orange and pretty!

As for the painting, I made it myself....It was the first canvas I ever made...I have been practicing some more...I am happy that you like it...It didn't take long to make juste 6 hours!

Not only do I LOVE these chairs, but I am dying to know where you got the art hanging above them in the after photo!!  BTW, I have a couple of these style chairs that are currently upholstered in worn out vinyl.  DO you have a tutorial anywhere that could guide me through my own reupholstery job on this style of chair?  I would so appreciate a link or tips or anything you could help me with!!  Again, your chairs turned out wonderfully (and I love that IKEA fabric--have often wished orange was a color in my home, so I could use it).

hey modhonecteacher...It wasn't too bad finding the screws. They were all under wood caps! My boyfriends picked the fabric. We got it at Ikea for about 12$ (canadian). I will post some new pics when we are done the rest of the apartment...We found a passion for DIY(s) and decorating our apartment on a dime!!!!

I Love that fabric! Great job on the reupholstery. Did you have to search for the hidden door in the sides to find the screws?
