Our old TV stand is a generic IKEA type thing, so we needed something a little more bespoke. Plus, we had a shed full of old parquet gym floorboards, we'd picked up at the reclaimed wood yard.

Stuck with nowhere to pick the TV I suddenly had an upcycle challenge on my hands. I love a reclaimed project and have done the odd bit of garden table making with some old roof timber. This time round I found some stair banisters and couldn't resist the challenge.

In the Taxi on the way home from a Birthday party, we spotted a rather beautiful (yet unloved) Victorian Inspired Chair that had been unceremoniously dumped on the side of the road. After a little wave of an upholstery wand and quick dash of wood work repair skills it was bought back to it's former beauty.
