Here is today’s project:

Stylish Paper Gift Topper

created at: 10/23/2010

Create a simple and pretty paper gift topper using color-copied vintage letters, double stick tape, and silver tree  garland.

What you’ll need:

  • 7 pages of printed handwriting cut to 5 x 4 inches
  • Double-stick tape
  • Hole punch
  • Metal brad
  • Hot glue
  • Tinsel garland

Cut and roll up sheets of papers like cigars. Tape the seam using double- stick tape.  Use a hole punch to put a hole in the center of the rolled paper. Repeat until all are punched. Assemble rolls in a stack and place metal brad through the holes and bend wire on brad back to hold together. Fan rolls to look like a bow. Top with 2 inches of silver garland attached with hot glue. Adhere to a gift for a beautiful finish!
