The Space of Our Desire – A Story of Smaller and Simpler Living

By: Gregoryjohnson Oct 27, 2009

created at: 2009-10-27

The Space of our Desire is a compelling story by Kurt Cunningham about smaller and simpler living.

The story was featured in the Fall 2009 print version of The Daily Iowan magazine, Off Deadline and appeared in the online edition with the title Tiny Space, big dreams.

I think you'll all enjoy the interior shots available in the online article.

I am VERY impressed you were able to get 200,000 miles out of a Geo Metro. That just might have been a record!
My all time favorite fake book was the book my husband used to store his pot in back in the day. (You know, hacked out square hole in the middle?) I can't remember the title, though. Neither does he, which shouldn't come as a surprise considering its contents ;)
Like the new background!
nice custom css!

Excellent! Looks kind of reptillian.

To change your background just use this in the CSS area at the bottom of your profile

body
{
background-image: url(http://www.YOURSITE.com/YOUR IMAGE.gif);
background-repeat: repeat;
}

Bruno taught me how to use the CSS feature. Here's how you change your background: In the CSS box you'll see the last lines of code starting with "body". In that string, you'll see a ( followed by a ' with a backslash and then more computer speak followed by another ' and ). It's that stuff between the two ' that does it all. Just find the pic or image you'd like to set as a background, find its properties--including its http--then copy and paste the properties between those two apostrophies. That should do it, but just in case, I'd write down or print the original string so you can refer to it. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this info! Good luck!

Have you ever come across my friend, the other Gregory Johnson? He's an amazing talent!
