Faith Towers
This is one of those spaces that makes you feel relaxed the second you step through the door. Inviting lavender walls, warm lighting and shiny chrome fixtures make you feel right at home. Keep reading to check it out. Â Â
Owners Julie and Bob created a gorgeous retreat in their master bath in Kittery, Maine, painting the walls a welcoming lavender color and scattering plain white accents around the room. The contrast of the dark floor tiles makes the lighter hues above stand out, lending a contemporary feel to the space.Â
The stunning marble countertops add a sense of luxury, their tone working perfectly alongside the lavender walls. To avoid the super-sleek feel that can sometimes be associated with contemporary fixtures, Julie and Bob have worked in a number of round and oval shapes to soften the space.
Function is just as important as design in this house. A stacking washer and dryer line the far wall, and a cabinet for laundry supplies sits right next to them. A bit of counter space also provides the perfect spot to fold clothes.Â
Chrome and other reflective surfaces make the room feel spacious and open, and they pair well with the calming shade of purple on the walls. And the warm lighting from the sconces provides a bright spot to put on makeup!
Three large windows provide a generous view of their beautiful backyard filled with tall evergreens, and more polished chrome towel racks hold crisp white towels below.
I don’t know about you, but I’d like to get ready for work in this stunning space!Â
