I really love the "Bolliwood" look, and the rest remind me of a very exclusive club, with deep leather wingbacks and single malt whiskey. I'm about to put a rust in my back door foyer/mudroom. (Is that an oxymoron, Backdoor foyer?) No guts no glory, besides it's only paint.

Yes, I suppose it does takes guts. It's just such a downer if you don't have loads of natural daylight to go with it. They didn't. Long before you could have real red paint mixed I wanted half of my bedroom painted red. Mom and I went to Sears where we always purchased paint a number of times to get more tint put in in hopes of getting enough pigment to have my walls red.

DM--I adore red too, but as an accent color. Although, I do kind of admire people who go all out and do the walls and all. Takes guts. ;)

You know I love red, but I just can't handle in as walls. It kind of closes in on me. I baby sat our grandson for months at his folks house and the living dining kitchen walls were all red. I finally had to tell the kids they needed to bring him here. I felt like I was being enclosed in dread. It was awful. I'm so glad their new place have warm light brownish walls.
