Turn Vintage Forks into Napkin Rings

There are people who turn vintage tableware into clever-tacky stuff, and then there are people who turn it into something clever-lovely. These napkin rings are an example of the latter. To make them ourselves, Brooklyn Limestone says we'll need the following:    

  • old forks
  • a metal stamp set (Not necessary, but when you see what's done with them, you might want 'em. They're not expensive; and I'm soooo wanting a set now!)
  • a vice
  • a small section of galvanized pipe
  • vice grips
  • a rubber mallet
  • a Sharpie 
  • nail polish remover

The version of this that I have seen before they roll the individual tines at different lengths giving it a whimsical effect.
