Hardware Store Decor: Toilet Plunger Lamp

by on Sep 9, 2010

And here we thought plungers were only good for one thing! Cityup uses the ubiquitous toilet unclogger to make a modern and–dare I say?–stylish lamp. Cityup has identified the project as an ‘up-cycled’ one, but I’d probably opt for a new plunger if I were going to make it, because the idea of repurposing a previously-used plunger makes me gag. So what else do you need? This stuff:

  • lamp cord
  • lamp socket
  • zip tie
  • dremel & small drill bit
  • 9 watt CFL bulb
