Kristy assures us we can whip up one of these lovely lacy lights in 5 minutes. The supplies? Minimal, just like we like it!

  • large jar(s)
  • an old lace table cloth (or lace yardage from the fabric store)
  • measuring tape
  • scissors
  • LED battery operated light(s)
  • sewing machine, thread, etc.

To see the entire tute (she has a great slideshow version posted) head on over to kootoyoo.com.

It was lovely and cheap! To bad I'm not doing that show this year it was a nice show and such a sweet little booth. Good product too, fantasy puppets, great sellers, fun to play with not like working at all.

elseajane--that sounds very pretty!

Last year I was faced with a booth that had no electric and a Faire that staid open till after dusk. I bought clear vases at the local thrift, then lots of clear and a few colored glass "dragon tears" as well as leds then sunk the lights into the tears. Lit the whole boot with about twenty sets plus very pretty and magical.

alicia--oooo, down a wedding aisle in a dimly lit church or outside for an evening wedding....yes, lovely.

Oh, the loveliness. We used oversized glass vases and LED candles to line the aisle at our wedding. I wish I would have thought to cover the vases in lace.

These would be beautiful at a Wedding as centerpieces. Start with them at a shower then on to the wedding and with a hint of blue or pink on to the baby shower. Very beautiful, very elegant, great idea.

I love it!  Thanks for posting
