We expect to see hanging wire flower baskets outdoors this time of year...not indoors. And we certainly don't expect to see them remade into a chandelier, but that's exactly what Megan did.

This is what she used to make it:

  • 4 - 10" hanging wire baskets (she bought hers for a buck a piece at the dollar store!)
  • wire, 19 gauge or so
  • needle-nosed plier/wire cutter
  • hot glue gun
  • spray paint
  • embellishments such as crystals, beaded necklaces, little round mirrors, jump rings...basically whatever you have on hand

And that's it. Follow this link to Brassy Apple to see how you put it all together. And how cute does the chandelier look in situ?!

I love this. It would be cute in a little girls room and you could add lighting with the kits you can get at Peir 1 for swags.
