Make a Pottery Barn Inspired Paper Mosaic

by on Mar 9, 2010

A cozy red throw is over the arm of a beige couch and a mountain cabin style home.

Cassity from Remodelaholic spotted the picture above in her Pottery Barn catalog and was inspired. What sparked her interest was the mosaic leaning against the wall. Below was Cassity’s interpretation.

And because the ’tiles’ are actually made of paper, it would be an easy and inexpensive alternative to a traditional mosaic. Interested? Then you’ll need this stuff:

  • scrapbook paper
  • paint
  • paper glue
  • Modge Podge
  • a piece of wood (OSB or MDF) or art canvas
