Homemade Sugar Scrub (A necessity for DIY-er hands!)

As an avid crafter and diyer, I don’t waste my money on manicures because they last about as long as it takes me to get from the salon to home. (Plus the scent of acetone makes me want to hurl.) BUT what I do love are those one minute manicure sugar scrub deals. One of my favorites is Bath and Body’s, sugar-based, Just a Minute 60-Second Manicure Scrub, which costs 12 bucks for 4 ounces. However, for twelve bucks you can make about a POUND of the stuff with supplies you probably already have on hand. Here’s what Petit Elephant tells us we need:

  • white granulated sugar
  • brown sugar
  • olive oil
  • vanilla (This is optional; although I’d choose almond. Hmmm…almond.)
