How to make a flowery pom-pom pendant lamp

by on Jan 25, 2010

Take a look at the pendant lamp on the left. Does it make you squeal? It did me! I would have never imagined faux flowers and pom-poms could look so good together. Craftynest tells us how to make it as well as the lamp on the right, which doesn’t thrill me quite as much. At least, it wasn’t squeal-producing. Here’s what you’ll need to make them:

  • a white paper lantern and cord kit ($3.99 at Ikea)
  • a hot glue gun and glue
  • fake flowers (the crafter used a garland of white poinsettia which was found at Michael’s after-Christmas clearance)
  • scissors
  • pom-pom fringe
  • compact florescent light bulb

To see how they both come together, follow this jump to Craftynest.
