Jim had a box of copper pipe and fittings. After a bunch of measuring, cutting and soldering, Jim had himself a very cool dining room table. He applied a coat of 'a patina inducing solution' to get that well-loved look. You can read more about the project at Junk Market Style.

 Here’s a better shot without the chairs. The 54” diameter glass top will easily seat six.

I had to replace copper piping on Christmas eve (a broken water line).  So this design is particularly salient to me.  I love the oxidation on the copper.  Very clever design idea.
