How to make a Corset Chair Cover

by on Dec 1, 2009

These sexy and practical chair covers come to us from isew. Inspired by something you’d find in a Victoria Secret catalog, the chair covers cinch up in the back–just like a corset–and have satin straps–just like a camisole. They’re the perfect way to sizzle up boring square dining chairs! To make one, you’ll need the following:

  • 1 yard of 54″ wide medium weight fabric
  • 3 yards of 1/4″ wide double-faced black satin ribbon, although grosgrain would look lovely too
  • 4 yards of 1/4″ wide double faced ivory satin ribbon, again, grosgrain could work
  • coordinating thread
  • vanishing marking pen
