Eco Egg Mini Washing Machine for Lingerie

by on Jun 11, 2009

Recently I bought French-made undergarment that set me back 70 bucks. Instead of buying several, I figured, at that price, I’d just wash it out in the sink every few days until I felt like springing for another one. As you can probably guess, washing it by hand has become a bit monotonous, and, yes, I know I could toss it in a lingerie bag and use the old washing machine, but there’s part of me that still balks at the risk. Which brings me to this cute table-topped, egg-shaped washing machine made especially for lingerie. In it you can wash up to 2 lbs of fabric. It hooks up to a kitchen or bathroom sink, has auto wash and rinse cycles. It doesn’t have a spin cycle because it’s designed to wash delicate fabrics. You can usually find it on Walmart or Amazon for $78, or, in other words, the price of a French-made undergarment.
