The World’s Most Expensive House: $2 BILLION

by on May 5, 2008

Mukesh Ambani, head of the Mumbai-based petrochemical Reliance Industries, is building a 22-story personal skyscraper dubbed ‘Antilla’ for himself and his family. Being one of the richest men in the world, he can afford such extravagances.

The ‘house’ stands 550′ and has 400,000 square feet of living space. According to the website Born Rich, ‘the stately home staunchly follows the principles of Vaastu, an Indian version of Feng Shui throughout the building with strategically placed furniture and accessories.’ As well, the ‘home’ includes a ‘health level with a swimming pool, a yoga studio and even an ice spa where residents can enjoy flurries of man-made snow.’
