Faux wood laminate countertops, dark cabinets with raised panel “cathedral” doors, boring beige flooring and that peculiar 1990’s green that was ever so popular at the time made this kitchen dark, dated and in dire need of a makeover. The homeowner chose to go the pro route and employed DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen in Ann Arbor, MI.
With a fresh white and warm gray color palette, new cabinetry, granite countertop and red oak flooring, the old look is a distant memory. Notice the white appliances in the new space, which, if my eyes don’t deceive me, were not replaced. And why not? They look great in their new surroundings and the homeowners saved a pretty penny not replacing them with what has become standard stainless.
