From Fail to Fabulous: A Genius Refrigerator Makeover

Tracy tried to paint her old and rusty refrigerator to make it look like stainless. That resulted in a huge fail. But did Tracy give up? Of course not! She flicked the old genius switch and came up with the idea to give wallpaper a try. Bead board wallpaper, to be specific.

Evidence of said fail:

After applying the wallpaper, she added 1/4″ birch to fashion frames. Some paint and cool new pulls later, this is what her old new refrigerator looks like now:

  1. I really like the looks of the doors, but I really do not care for the handles at all. I guess I would have leaned more towards black or bronze handles that resemble ‘S’ iron handles that used to be on barns or garages. Just my opinion, I really do like the beadboard look. Nice job!

  2. Hello!  Thank you for featuring my refrigerator!  I’m on a super strict budget so I found those pulls at Hobby Lobby for unter $10 total.  They totally match my kitchen, my towel holders and my chandeliers and blend in nicely.  🙂
