Back in 2010 Brooke made herself a home office. But she didn’t use it for an office. Mostly it was a ‘catch-all room,’ and the clutter was driving her NUTS. So she did what every good DIYer does. She made it over again, but this time she made it into a room she knew she’d use: a sitting room. It started with painting the walls. Brooke’s FIRST pick was Behr’s Gray Shimmer, which turned out to be a very light purple, which she hated. Her SECOND pick was Behr’s Dolphin Fin, which she loved. DIY MDF molding in a Greek-key pattern applied to the wall, a new love seat, some colorful pillows, and sweet geometric bird prints from the inknest all add up to a beautiful room that Brooke actually uses!
