How To: Make a Riddling Rack

I love riddling racks. (You know, those French champagne holder things?) I think it's because they're two-fers: champagne/wine racks + wall art. If we'd check on Etsy, we'd see sellers have many kinds to offer from prices ranging from $70 to $300, depending on size. The one pictured above is from Pottery Barn and clocks in at $249. The good thing for we DIYer types is they're really easy to reproduce. Here's a video that explains how to make one like the PB offering:

No instructions on how to make this lean-to version, but I'm guessing it starts with a hole saw. Of course, we'd want to devise an anchoring system to keep the rack in place.

But what if we don't have a need for such wine storage? We could use it to hold vases--made out of wine bottles, of course.
